Ditch The Statin Drugs And Protect Your Heart Health Naturally
Earlier this week, I told you about an international group of experts who conducted an extensive and robust review of the cholesterol research to date. They concluded that cholesterol does not cause heart disease in the elderly.
The researchers also said that trying to reduce cholesterol with drugs, like statins, is a waste of time.
Of course, their findings caused controversy in the mainstream… After all, I’m sure the pro-statin camp wouldn’t want their cholesterol-lowering bubble to be burst (there’s a lot of money that won’t be made anymore).

In light of the findings of this latest study, and since one of the researchers who took part in the study said that altering your lifestyle is the single most important way to achieve a good quality of life, here are 10 non-drug ways to help boost your heart health:
- Reduce grains and sugars in your diet, with the aim to eventually eliminate their consumption completely. It is vitally important to avoid gluten-containing grains in particular and sugars, especially fructose.
- Consume a good portion of your food raw, especially fruit and vegetables.
- Make sure you are getting plenty of high-quality, animal-based omega-3 fatty acids, such as krill oil. Research suggests that as little as 500 mg of omega-3 per day can help improve your total cholesterol and triglyceride levels, and will likely increase your HDL “good” cholesterol.
- Replace harmful vegetable oils and synthetic trans fats with healthy saturated fats, like olive oil, butter, avocado, eggs and coconut oil. In addition, only use olive oil cold and use coconut oil for cooking and baking.
- Include fermented foods in your daily diet. This will not only optimise your intestinal microflora, which will boost your overall immunity, but it will also introduce beneficial good bacteria into your mouth. Poor oral health is another powerful indicator of increased heart disease risk.
- Optimise your vitamin D levels, ideally through appropriate sun exposure as this will allow your body to also create vitamin D sulphate ? another factor that may play a crucial role in preventing the formation of arterial plaque.
- Exercise regularly. High-intensity interval exercises are the best form of exercise to improve your heart function and fitness levels and they can also help optimise your human growth hormone (HGH) production.
- Avoid smoking or drinking alcohol excessively.
- Be sure to get plenty of high-quality, restorative sleep.
- Practice regular stress-management techniques

Statin drugs are pure poison! It destroyed my muscles and my memory. I regret ever taking these drugs or listening to my doctor telling me that they are safe to use.
