Two Powerful Herbs To Improve Your Memory And Brain Power
Tired of forgetting names, faces and where you left the car keys? Or maybe you just want to clear up mental fog and improve your brain function.
Fortunately, there are two herbs that you probably have in your kitchen right now, which can provide you with the brain-boost you’ve been looking for.
Jumpstart your memory
In fact, using nothing but these two herbs you may be able to jumpstart your memory and boost your brain function in just a few short weeks.
US researchers from the Saint Louis University School of Medicine divided a group of mice and gave one half antioxidant-rich spearmint extract and the other half rosemary extract.
Their results showed that both these memory-boosting extracts helped REVERSE oxidative damage in the mice’s brains, which in turn dramatically improved their reasoning and cognitive skills.
In fact, the mice who took rosemary extract improved their scores for all three of the learning and memory behaviours tested given by the researchers. The spearmint mice only improved in two of the three categories.
These results may not come as a surprise because previously we told you about a study in which adults dramatically improved their mental performance by simply SMELLING rosemary.
It’s just more proof that the humble herbs provided by Mother Nature could be just the nectar your brain needs to stay sharp as you age. And if you want to win the battle against a declining memory you’re not going to need a prescription for some “wonder drug” ? but you may want to start growing your own herb garden.
